Killtopia Kickstarter drops Friday, February 2nd!

Howdy folks, our explosive cyberpunk comic Killtopia hits Kickstarter at 1pm UK on Friday, February 2nd. If you’re new to the series, it’s about a crew of robot hunters in future Japan fighting yakuza gangs, mecha kaiju and android assassins in a race to cure a deadly nano virus. Howdy folks, Craig and I are getting close to revealing the first five full pages from Killtopia #1 – our Blade Runner meets Battle Royale brawl-fest set in future Japan. Vessels #3: our comic’s first art revealed!

Hi guys, Dave here with a new reveal. Even though Craig and I are working damn hard on the Kickstarter and production for Killtopia #1 (campaign coming on Feb 2nd!), I’ve also been working with Raf and Dennis on issue 3 of Vessels. On the whole MCM closing down shows thing…

So the news just broke that MCM is calling time on its shows in Telford, Northern Ireland and Liverpool, following the group’s takeover by events company Reed POP. Reed POP is the group behind big events like PAX, Twitch Con, New York Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration – all massive, prolific events with huge worldwide recognition. So while comic creators and vendors like yours truly are waiting to see how Reed’s takeover will benefit the MCM roster of events, I don’t think the first thing we expected to see was a round of event closures.
