Bust on tour: Two new comic shows for September

Happy Monday everyone, and welcome to another Bust: Issue #1 update. We’re inching closer to the launch of our Kickstarter funding campaign for Bust #2: Wasteland Ronin, and we can’t wait to share that with everyone soon. But first, we have a quick announcement of upcoming comic shows where you can buy Bust and get it signed by writer Dave Cook for just £3. The comic will be at two shows through September, starting with the Glasgow Comic & Toy Fair on September 19th at the Queen Margaret University Union (QMU) in Glasgow. Doors are 11am-4pm and entry is absolutely free. It’s also part of the uni’s fresher’s fair, so expect it to be busy and full of both amazing comics and great merch. Do stop by and say hello if you’re in town. Next up, it’s the big one, arguably largest comic event on the Scottish calendar – which is of course – MCM Scotland at the SECC. Bust will be there with (metaphorical) bells on!   MCM Scotland take place Saturday September 26th and Sunday September 27th at the SECC in Glasgow, from 9-5 both days. New Bust review by Desert Whales and backer sketch!

Happy Monday Bust friends and backers alike! We’ve got a new update for you today, to tide you over until the Kickstarter for Bust 2: Wasteland Ronin goes live. Scottish geek culture podcast The Desert Whales has reviewed issue #1 of Bust, and have given it a positive appraisal. It’s a great new podcast with great banter, a chilled tone and lots of insight into new comics, games, films and more. You can find the Bust review here, where the guys also talk about Metal Gear Solid 5, a comic anthology called If, and crappy comic book villains. It’s a great episode from a superb series. Show them some love through the link and on Twitter – thanks for the review guys! Also, we’ve got a new backer sketch for Richard Simpson, who appears to have been transformed into The Pursuer from Dark Souls II – I love it! Hope you enjoy it Richard, and stay tunes guys for more news on Bust 2’s Kickstarter!...
